Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web user interfaces using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop instrumentation communication drivers and Python data-processing components.
- Implement and maintain Python-based database interfaces, preferably using ODBC.
- Manage communications with devices and systems through TCP/IP and ZeroMQ.
- Optimize data acquisition and processing workflows.
- Create administrative scripts using PowerShell and Bash.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with hardware and software project teams.
- Prepare and update technical documentation.
Requirements
- Established professional experience developing software with Python.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js.
- Experience with SQL and database interfaces, preferably through ODBC.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and ZeroMQ networking protocols.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to perform debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
- Ability to work on complex systems integrating software and hardware components.
- Good technical English proficiency.
- Preferred: experience with near-real-time applications, client-server architectures, logging and monitoring systems, software design patterns, PowerShell and Bash scripting, or Defence, Aerospace, Telecommunications, and Satellite Communications environments.
