Base Salary
$100k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build intelligence deeper into Basis teams’ workflows through infrastructure, interfaces, and operating models.
- Develop zero-human-loop systems that can handle entire jobs end to end.
- Build and improve production systems in which agents perform real work.
- Own projects as the accountable Responsible Party for whether they ship and work.
- Work beyond narrow engineering concerns by understanding domains, data systems, workflows, and agent behavior.
Requirements
- Strong first-principles reasoning and systems thinking for solving novel problems without an established playbook.
- Ability to understand domains, data systems, workflows, and the work agents perform in order to design better systems and agents.
- Demonstrated ownership of outcomes and initiative in gathering context and making sound decisions.
- Excitement about working with coding agents and applying agents to real-economy problems.
- Ability and willingness to work in person in Flatiron, New York City, five days a week.
