Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop edge-based ML inference pipelines across Amazon’s warehouse network.
- Build and maintain services managing camera fleets at scale.
- Architect systems that operate reliably with intermittent or limited cloud connectivity.
- Develop cloud platforms for fleet-wide observability, telemetry, and remote device management.
- Collaborate with hardware, operations, applied science, and external partners to define and deliver capabilities.
- Debug edge ML pipelines, camera-fleet synchronization, device health telemetry, and fleet update workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape engineering culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture for new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
