Base Salary
$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and secure segmented network environments using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Automate provisioning, managed-service operations, and internal tooling with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Install, configure, tune, and operate Kubernetes environments with EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate, and manage Docker-based workloads.
- Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines and maintain Argo CD GitOps continuous-delivery workflows.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, improve application performance and reliability, and ensure uptime for mission-critical systems.
- Evaluate AWS infrastructure costs and implement measures to reduce service spend and maintenance burden.
- Lead sprint planning, decompose priorities into tickets, manage team tasking and workloads, and drive infrastructure technical direction.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineers, product owners, and program stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combined education and experience; the posting specifies 12 or more years of professional experience, or 10 years with a related master's degree, as alternatives.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, active before starting, and a CI Polygraph obtained within the last seven years and active before starting.
- Current DoD 8140 (CWIP) certification, active before starting.
- Extensive experience architecting and managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate, Docker, and Docker Compose.
- Experience developing and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Argo CD GitOps workflows.
- Proficiency with Python, Ansible, and Terraform for DevOps automation and scripting.
- Experience with systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, cost analysis, troubleshooting, and system uptime management.
- Experience managing sprint workloads and driving technical direction in an Agile environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineering, product, and program stakeholders.
