Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, software engineers, and operations teams to identify opportunities and define Trust ML solutions.
- Design, build, and productionize end-to-end machine learning pipelines for batch and real-time use cases.
- Develop ML-based detections and tools for account takeover, fake accounts, payment fraud, bot activity, and emerging fraud patterns.
- Write, review, and ship clean, testable code while improving model pipelines, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data to continuously improve models.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team collaborations.
- Operate and adapt ML systems as fraud attacks and threat signals evolve.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning, including building and productionizing models at scale.
- Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with Scala, Java, or equivalent.
- Understanding of ML practices including feature engineering, model selection, training-serving skew minimization, and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of gradient boosted trees, neural networks, transformers, and deep learning.
- Experience with ML frameworks and tooling such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with data engineering and end-to-end ML pipelines covering batch and real-time systems.
- Exposure to large-scale software architecture, well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, and efficient algorithms.
- Experience with test-driven development, incremental delivery, and deployment practices.
- A bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Trust and risk experience, including fraud detection, anomaly detection, identity, or account integrity, is preferred.
