Base Salary
$81k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and architect reliable infrastructure and services while forecasting demand and managing capacity.
- Monitor service health, investigate production issues, perform incident response and root cause analyses, and participate in on-call shifts.
- Support deployments, provisioning, maintenance, backup and recovery, decommissioning, and disaster recovery activities.
- Develop automation tools and scripts for metrics collection, monitoring, analysis, mitigation, and remediation.
- Conduct post-mortems, document incidents, report service health and performance, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Experiment with tools and technologies to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to build and operate reliable services.
Requirements
- Experience with site reliability engineering, cloud services, production operations, incident response, troubleshooting, observability, and capacity planning.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools including Terraform, Chef, and Ansible.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, and Bash.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Ability to analyze operational data, resolve technical issues across services, communicate infrastructure impacts, and independently manage reliability initiatives.
