Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end root-cause investigations and debugging of complex failures across the storage stack.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and platform software teams to isolate device-level and lifecycle bugs and implement safety guardrails.
  • Design and refine automated triage systems, log-analysis tools, and health-monitoring features.
  • Guide technical qualification and rollout of new firmware builds and hardware SKUs.
  • Turn high-impact customer escalations into systemic engineering improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering proficiency in systems, storage, firmware, or low-level software such as embedded systems, kernel, or networking.
  • Advanced proficiency with Linux command-line environments and programming languages including Python, Go, or C/C++.
  • Ability to debug across multiple layers from the operating system to hardware.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate logs, metrics, and test outputs into high-quality bug reports and cross-team alignment.
  • Experience utilizing large-scale test environments and CI/CD pipelines to support system-level validation.
  • Ability to work primarily from the Bangalore office.
