Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for enterprise applications.
- Test RESTful and SOAP APIs, microservices, integrations, database transactions, and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, load, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test results gate releases.
- Support release validation, defect triage, and SRE-led production issue investigations.
- Maintain test data sets and test environments that reflect production conditions.
- Track test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics for release decisions.
- Review requirements and designs to identify testability gaps and quality risks early.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.
- Proven experience with API testing, UI automation, and enterprise software quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and SOAP web services using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins using Git-based version control.
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot applications, microservices architecture, SQL, SRE principles, API authentication, payload validation, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog; Kubernetes and containerized environments; and Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Fluent English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
