Responsibilities
- Design and plan test strategies for projects and applications.
- Plan testing activities for agile deliveries.
- Create automated tests and add automated test cases to the existing Selenium test suite.
- Support and maintain the test automation framework for new features, existing features, and bug fixes.
- Execute automated and thorough software tests and identify defects.
- Analyze requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases.
- Contribute to process improvements and recommend quality enhancements.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Experience with test automation using Selenium WebDriver.
- Ability to refactor code to reduce complexity.
- Knowledge of software testing procedures, test planning, test estimation, prioritization, and risk-based testing.
- Practical experience with agile testing methodologies including BDD and TDD.
- Ability to make decisions with limited information and communicate decisions to the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Unix and SQL skills.
