Responsibilities

Apply state of the art ML techniques in search using deep learning, bandits, transformers, and causal inference.
Run online A/B tests and analyze results against critical business KPIs.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Nurture the ML ecosystem for scalability and developer velocity.
Provide technical leadership for the ML roadmap in search ranking and monetization.
Help recruit, interview, train, and mentor new team members.

8+ years of experience in machine learning or a PhD with 6 years of experience in relevant domains.
Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to convert ideas to code.
Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals like classification and deep neural networks.
Familiarity with modern NLP stack and multi-modal representation learning is a plus.
Experience with big data systems such as Spark, S3, and Airflow, and proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python.
Good understanding of system architecture and experience in big data technologies and streaming architecture.
