Responsibilities
- Participate in collaborative integrated product teams developing, testing, and integrating complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Support requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of real-time software, application software, and engineering tools.
- Develop new work products and enhance existing applications and systems.
- Analyze, implement, and test system solutions collaboratively.
- Contribute to creative solutions for difficult technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related STEM field is typically required.
- At least 5 years of professional software programming experience in development, integration, or testing using C++, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance or the ability to obtain an interim Secret DoD clearance is required before the start date.
- Preferred qualifications include problem-solving, teamwork, communication, initiative, and the ability to learn new technologies and tools.
- Preferred experience includes Agile techniques, continuous integration and development tools, Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Eclipse, Ansible, and Red Hat or Linux operating systems.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with open systems architectures, modular design principles, and using generative AI and machine learning to improve productivity and performance.
