Responsibilities
- Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and spike performance tests for enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain reusable performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Create workload models that simulate real-world user behavior and system usage patterns.
- Analyze application, infrastructure, database, network, memory, and CPU metrics to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Partner with application developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders on performance optimization.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous performance validation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Performance Testing, or Performance Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in LoadRunner, Performance Center, Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues through analysis of application, database, network, memory, and CPU metrics.
- Strong understanding of performance engineering methodologies, workload modeling, and scalability testing.
- Healthcare domain experience, healthcare interoperability standards, and HIPAA compliance knowledge are helpful.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps workflows and knowledge of GenAI-based performance testing tools are helpful.
- Experience with NeoLoad, Gatling, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace is helpful.
