Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test enhancements to the Zscaler nanolog database and associated services.
- Develop advanced features in query parsing and planner modules for the Zscaler query language.
- Optimize log collection and streaming to third parties with efficient storage and compression algorithms.
- Troubleshoot complex issues within production clouds and improve code efficiency.
- Architect large-scale, maintainable software components for distributed systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in C programming.
- Strong working experience in database kernels, specifically focused on query optimizations.
- Expert knowledge of Unix systems and a strong command of Algorithms and Data Structures.
- Proven track record in developing large, maintainable software architectures for distributed systems.
- Experience building scalable systems with expertise in high-performance computing, multi-threading, and memory optimization.
