Base Salary

$46k - $92k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for legacy and modernized systems.
  • Collaborate with software developers, engineers, stakeholders, and end users as an Agile product team member.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, artifact creation, sprint and regression testing, demonstrations, releases, deployments, and production operations.
  • Contribute to software documentation, training content, product improvements, and production support.
  • Analyze project-related problems and develop solutions involving technology, methodology, tools, scheduling, and solution components.
  • Help ensure product quality and timely delivery while resolving problems and providing performance reports.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a CBP background investigation, including checks related to felony convictions, illegal drug use, and misconduct such as theft or fraud.
  • Must be pursuing a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Must demonstrate familiarity with or the ability to learn PostgreSQL, Java Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Must demonstrate familiarity with or the ability to learn TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Preferred experience includes Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate or another ORM, JAX-RS, XML, JSON, JAX-WS, web services, Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, shell scripting, C, C++, and Python.
  • Preferred experience includes SQL or PL/SQL and Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Spring, VMware, ETL tools, ESB message queuing, application security, automated testing, UML, VersionOne, Jira, or Sparx Enterprise Architect is highly desirable.
  • Experience building, using, or integrating with a SecDevOps CI/CD pipeline is preferred.
