Responsibilities
- Translate business cases and product requirements documents into traceable manual and automated test suites.
- Design, build, and execute scalable automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and multiple operating systems using Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
- Test low-code/no-code applications, including dynamic UI locators, shadow DOM structures, and third-party API integrations.
- Track QA metrics, provide automation updates, and conduct root cause analysis on software defects.
- Manage test artifacts with GitLab, Jira, and TestRail and integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in early design reviews, collaborate with developers on defect prevention, and support left-shift testing.
- Track releases end-to-end and uphold quality standards across Agile sprint cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience with end-to-end test automation tools.
- Expertise building scalable end-to-end automation frameworks from scratch with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency with Git.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Rest Assured.
- Ability to debug systems, analyze edge cases, and perform root cause analysis of software defects.
- Familiarity with Mendix low-code application testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD test integration, dynamic UI locator and shadow DOM testing, third-party API testing, QA metrics, defect tracking, and test management platforms such as Jira or TestRail is preferred.
