Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and handle issues for internal users of the big data analytics platform.
- Optimize and clean up data-processing pipelines.
- Advise users on efficiently ingesting terabytes of data from relational databases and millions of records from Kafka topics.
- Design and apply internal policies to improve data-platform governance and efficiency.
- Participate in innovation projects and ongoing technical learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Be studying Computer Science, statistics, mathematics, or physics.
- Have good knowledge of Python or Java.
- Have knowledge of Apache Spark, algorithms, and database internals.
- Experience in software engineering or distributed computing and databases is a plus.
- Interest in high-performance computing, functional programming, and continuous optimization is a plus.
