Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and deliver ServiceNow product and system elements and features.
- Participate in design and development discussions and provide software engineering input.
- Plan migration of legacy tools and systems to new or unified systems and languages.
- Develop and implement unit and system testing for integral code paths while following secure coding practices.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing and new features.
- Document processes, best practices, methodologies, and repeatable procedures.
- Communicate status, challenges, and concerns to team members, managers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Assist with technical estimation of resources, timelines, and anticipated outcomes.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong expertise with Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and scripted integrations.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Client Scripts.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Application Developer certification is preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Glide Script, and modern web technologies is preferred.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Azure AD, Workday, SAP, or other enterprise tools is preferred.
