Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions supporting diverse trading activities.
- Own data products from initial concept through stable production.
- Design, build, and maintain batch-processing and real-time streaming systems for time-series datasets.
- Develop APIs and data-access methods for fast, intuitive retrieval of historical and live data.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity across systems.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of experience using one or more of Python, Java, or C++ and be comfortable working in multiple programming languages.
- Have a track record of working directly with end customers to scope and deliver production systems in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, risk identification, complexity reduction, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Have experience in financial markets, particularly delta one, store of value, or FICC options trading.
- Have experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems.
- Have experience with pipeline orchestration frameworks such as Airflow or Dagster.
- Have experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka, data lake platforms such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg, and relational databases.
- Have a bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
