Responsibilities
- Build the web platform for Pinterest.com and the frameworks that empower engineers.
- Improve web architecture, developer experience, and testing capabilities.
- Identify challenges and propose, test, and ship solutions.
- Drive large-scale initiatives to enhance the Web platform.
- Implement best practices for web stability, scalability, performance, and accessibility.
- Utilize AI to accelerate migrations and automate engineering tasks.
- Mentor team members and participate in technical design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web development with a strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTTP.
- Expertise in React, Redux, GraphQL, TypeScript, and testing libraries.
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and Vite.
- Experience with Node.js and frameworks like Next.js or Remix.
- Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects and improving developer experience.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and their applications in development.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
