Responsibilities
- Develop and support Genetec’s central login services.
- Operate the underlying infrastructure, including governance, high availability, capacity management, and incident response.
- Provide application teams with login-related solutions and technology.
- Define, develop, deploy, and maintain Genetec Login features and the overall product.
- Develop a distributed, cloud-based microservices architecture.
- Own and maintain the fully automated test suite.
- Guide and mentor team members as a technical reference.
- Maintain a high level of security across the team and its products.
- Participate in the scheduled on-call process for alerts and incidents.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a cloud software development role.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- Strong experience with C# and the .NET platform.
- Experience developing large-scale SaaS solutions using microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
- Experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, or another identity and access management system is an asset.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an asset.
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or another Infrastructure as Code solution is an asset.
- Experience operating a mission-critical enterprise service in production is an asset.
