Base Salary
$100k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile teams of 3–8 engineers and scientists.
- Plan sprints, delegate tasking, and drive technical execution.
- Communicate with customers to elicit requirements, provide updates, and iterate through technical decisions.
- Develop and maintain web applications hosted on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to containerize applications for cloud deployment.
- Implement web page user interfaces from design documents.
- Write backend APIs that interact with cloud services.
- Design, develop, and deploy software applications with team members.
- Contribute to heavily object-oriented, extensible, and maintainable codebases.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year leading technical teams.
- Experience with React and frontend development.
- Experience with Python.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile development.
- A BS or MS in computer science or an equivalent degree, or significant professional experience.
- Preferred experience with HCI and web design, microservice architecture, Terraform or CloudFormation, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
