Responsibilities
- Partner with product management, design, and engineering to understand customer problems, shape solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Own work end to end from discovery and technical design through implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build core product features and make pragmatic technical trade-offs while maintaining scalability, quality, and maintainability.
- Contribute to technical direction and long-term product strategy.
- Use, evaluate, validate, and troubleshoot AI-generated output in development, testing, debugging, and documentation workflows.
- Share effective AI-assisted development practices and encourage responsible experimentation among teammates.
- Improve developer experience through tools, automation, and engineering practices that support reliable, frequent delivery.
- Collaborate across product and platform teams and contribute to a constructive learning environment.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience with React and Node.js, including designing reliable backend services and APIs.
- Experience working across system boundaries and collaborating outside a primary frontend or backend specialization.
- Experience with a public cloud environment such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, observability, and operating software in production.
- Understanding of authentication, databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and API integrations.
- Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot AI-generated code, use effective prompting, and share practical learnings.
- React Native experience is a plus.
- Pragmatic builder mindset with strong ownership, initiative, sound judgment, and a focus on maintainable, elegant code.
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to challenge ideas constructively.
