Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision for intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning capabilities.
- Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations across the software development lifecycle.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines, distributed microservices, real-time data and AI platforms, agentic solutions, and networking integrations.
- Lead technical discussions and participate hands-on in design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
- Mentor and develop engineers, establish technical direction, and foster engineering excellence.
- Build resilient, secure, observable, scalable, and operationally reliable systems while improving architecture, performance, processes, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of experience across the complete software development lifecycle.
- At least 7 years of programming experience with a general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience designing high-volume, high-velocity data systems with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and reliability requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems and turn them into production-ready solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with event-driven microservices, real-time operational or network data, generative AI or agentic systems, networking and observability systems, and large-scale production datasets.
- Preferred: Experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable distributed data technologies.
