Responsibilities
- Build production services in Python and C# based on designs from senior engineers, leads, or managers.
- Develop corresponding user interface functionality using Angular.
- Build and integrate platform features using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
- Integrate LLM-backed capabilities using Anthropic Claude APIs, MCP, and related platform services.
- Contribute to AI Governance capabilities across explain, observe, and prevent areas.
- Write unit, integration, and service-level tests for reliable production delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintainable implementation patterns.
- Estimate work, communicate progress, and flag risks, dependencies, and scope concerns.
Requirements
- Solid engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience shipping production code.
- Working proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL, plus hands-on experience or familiarity with C#.
- Working proficiency in Angular.
- Hands-on daily experience using an AI coding tool such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, OpenAI Codex, or a comparable tool.
- Basic familiarity with AWS compute and serverless services.
- Baseline AI literacy, including understanding AI capabilities, limitations, usefulness, and effective direction.
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs and use AI-assisted tools responsibly within team standards and review processes.
- Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable agentic framework is preferred and may be developed on the job.
- Preferred experience includes LLM-backed products or APIs, Anthropic Claude APIs, MCP integrations, AWS cloud-native services, and AI Governance, observability, explainability, prevention, or responsible AI capabilities.
