Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and modify information system programs for multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications.
- Analyze and resolve application issues independently by devising or modifying procedures.
- Identify system requirements through user and vendor interviews, application analysis, and evaluation of existing and proposed systems.
- Monitor software-based projects, track activity, resolve problems, publish progress reports, and recommend actions.
- Improve system performance by investigating problems, developing specifications, identifying technology trends, and recommending solutions.
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend software using the listed technologies and frameworks.
- Follow Underwriters Laboratories’ Code of Conduct and physical and digital security practices.
- Mentor others, communicate clearly, own work through completion, and contribute to collaborative team activities.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge and/or software development experience.
- Strong working knowledge of software applications or programming language requirements.
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least four years of software development experience, including at least two years with enterprise-level JavaScript.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, CSS frameworks, JavaScript, TypeScript, frontend libraries, UI frameworks, and global state management tools.
- Experience with Node.js, Python, server-side frameworks, SQL and NoSQL databases, and backend application development.
- Ability to work onsite in Fremont, California at the time of hire and participate in in-person meetings and team activities.
- Strong preference for candidates who thrive in a collaborative, office-based environment.

- Estimated base salary of $123,500 to $133,000, plus eligibility for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of base salary.
