Base Salary
$135k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build inventory and warehouse management systems tracking robot components from raw materials through final assembly.
- Develop lifecycle management software used to build, calibrate, verify, and maintain robots.
- Partner directly with robot engineers and surgical engineers to understand needs and translate them into software.
- Own the direction and continued development of the robot manufacturing software stack.
- Debug and fix software issues affecting the manufacturing floor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills and the ability to learn and ship effectively with Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript.
- Experience building software used by real people.
- Ability to communicate with users, understand their problems, and translate them into well-built software.
- Demonstrated ownership, collaboration, and comfort working in an ambiguous manufacturing environment.
