Responsibilities
- Advise client stakeholders on business problems and translate requirements into AI-ready data architectures.
- Design and implement cloud data warehouses, lakehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration jobs, analytical layers, and semantic layers.
- Build data models, metrics layers, knowledge graphs, and data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Write production-ready SQL, Python, and Spark code using software engineering best practices.
- Enable LLM-driven analytics, natural-language querying, agent-based workflows, and AI-assisted data engineering processes.
- Collaborate with analytics, data science, and ML teams to productionize AI-enabled analytics, features, and inference pipelines without developing ML models.
- Own client workstreams from design through production and contribute to internal accelerators, architectures, best practices, and business development.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with relational databases and query languages.
- At least 3 years of experience building production data pipelines across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- At least 3 years of data modeling experience, such as star schema and entity-relationship modeling.
- At least 3 years of experience writing clean, maintainable, and robust code in Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
- Strong stakeholder partnership, communication, independent delivery, and software engineering skills.
- Preferred experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud, AI-assisted data engineering tools, DevOps, cloud data warehouses, cloud ETL/ELT tools, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, analytics preparation, data science workflows, and consulting.
- Willingness to travel.
