Base Salary

$82k - $113k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and testing software components.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
  • Write and maintain code documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support software integration with hardware systems.
  • Work on a computer for extended periods and perform coding and testing activities requiring hand and finger dexterity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in software development.
  • Basic proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
  • Conceptual understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred: internship or cooperative education experience in software development.
  • Preferred: exposure to the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Preferred: understanding of C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash.
  • Preferred: experience with requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repositories, and automated build tools.
  • Preferred: knowledge of data structures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for the position.
