Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain back-end services, APIs, orchestration layers, and integration components for AI-enabled applications.
  • Develop full-stack application capabilities using Python, TypeScript, .NET, or equivalent enterprise technologies.
  • Implement retrieval augmented generation, semantic search, agentic workflows, prompt orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Integrate applications with cloud services, identity platforms, enterprise systems, databases, document repositories, and AI services.
  • Model and implement data structures, application schemas, APIs, and transformation logic with architects.
  • Develop secure, maintainable, and documented services aligned with software development lifecycle and enterprise architecture practices.
  • Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL data access patterns, stored procedures, queries, and integration logic.
  • Partner with front-end developers, architects, cybersecurity, data owners, and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, monitoring, and production readiness.
  • Mentor developers and contribute reusable engineering patterns for the AI & Automation Center of Excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional back-end or full-stack software development experience, including production-grade enterprise applications.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, C#, .NET, or equivalent enterprise development languages.
  • Experience designing APIs, integration layers, application services, and relational or NoSQL data models.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably Azure, including hosting, identity, storage, monitoring, and AI services.
  • Experience developing AI-enabled applications using technologies such as Azure OpenAI, vector search, document processing, RAG, or agents.
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms, knowledge-graph and ontology representations, R2RML Mapping, and RDF.
  • Understanding of secure software development, authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and production support.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools for source control, code review, CI/CD, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with React, Angular, or Blazor is considered an asset.
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English in a business context.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, autonomy, innovation, and technical problem-solving skills.
