Base Salary
$120k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and support production microservices for financial portfolio construction and real-time operational workflows.
- Develop data integrations connecting diverse systems and support portfolio data, security data, index data, and reference data workflows.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, data pipelines, orchestration, storage, distribution, and distributed computation capabilities.
- Work with teammates and stakeholders to deliver complete, timely, and validated platform capabilities that address business needs.
- Package, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot production applications and containerized services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, STEM, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python and SQL, preferably with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience building and supporting production applications, services, or APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, with AWS strongly preferred.
- Experience building, packaging, and deploying containerized applications with Docker.
- Experience with source control, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation, Terraform, cloud-native or serverless applications, Pandas, NumPy, Kubernetes, distributed or event-driven systems, and application monitoring or observability.
- Financial or fintech experience involving options, derivatives, equities, bonds, fixed income, capital markets, portfolio management, or trading workflows is preferred.
