Base Salary

$111k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own key software components and contribute to their design, implementation, and support.
  • Build AI-driven personalized features that improve Audible’s listening and discovery experience.
  • Develop native iOS products and mobile interfaces using Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
  • Drive mobile system architecture, technical direction, development best practices, and cross-team influence.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and contribute to backend services over time.
  • Perform documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Mentor teammates and share technical knowledge through internal sessions and hackathons.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Objective-C or Swift.
  • Experience with SwiftUI or UIKit and mobile UI development.
  • Experience with documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Preferred: experience with dependency injection, operations/promises, modular development, enterprise-scale mobile applications, Auto Layout, storyboards, animations, caching for offline transactions, automation, Chaos Engineering, and backend development.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, coding standards, source code management, and build processes.
