Responsibilities
- Build incident.io’s security function from the ground up.
- Focus primarily on cloud security across the company’s platform.
- Conduct security reviews, testing, and threat modeling.
- Secure AI features and AI-driven workflows shipped into the product.
- Establish security processes from first principles and provide release-blocking authority when warranted.
- Help security enable the business while delivering clear feedback to engineers.
Requirements
- Strong generalist security grounding with deep expertise in cloud security.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver difficult feedback constructively.
- Persistence and comfort building a security function with limited existing process.
- Genuine enthusiasm and deep engagement with security.
