Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for complex airline software features.
- Lead the design and development of test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, API testing, and performance testing.
- Implement AI-powered testing capabilities with Testim AI, Mabl, and Applitools.
- Lead defect management and perform root cause analysis with engineering teams.
- Promote shift-left testing and quality engineering practices throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and expand the team’s test automation capabilities.
- Report quality metrics, test coverage, and automation ROI to engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Require 5–7 years of QA experience with advanced automation and test strategy expertise.
- Require expert test automation skills across multiple frameworks and testing types.
- Require experience with AI-powered testing tools and performance and security testing.
- Require mentoring and test strategy leadership experience.
- Require a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- ISTQB Advanced or Expert certification is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes AI-powered QA platforms, generative AI tools, safety-critical testing, regulatory compliance, and high-volume airline transaction systems.
