Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end design and development of scalable enterprise applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and VB.NET.
- Oversee backend services and microservices using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Coordinate integrations with SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle using PL/SQL, normalized schemas, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews, design standards, object-oriented programming practices, and clean architecture.
- Define error handling, monitor performance, and lead tuning activities to improve reliability, latency, and throughput.
- Translate business and product requirements into detailed technical specifications with stakeholders and product teams.
- Coordinate configuration and deployment pipelines for .NET solutions across hybrid environments.
- Implement secure coding and data protection practices for services and APIs.
- Guide unit testing, integration testing, automated validation, and continuous integration practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues using logs, database traces, and application metrics, and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to technical solutions for property, claims, and billing systems when applicable.
- Support distributed collaboration, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Four to eight years of professional experience in software development or technical lead roles.
- Strong proficiency in VB.NET, C#, .NET Framework, .NET, and .NET Core, including production application development and maintenance.
- Advanced experience designing and optimizing secure, scalable ASP.NET Core Web API endpoints.
- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL, including schema design, efficient queries, stored procedures, and data integrity.
- Understanding of hybrid work models and collaborative tools for cross-functional and distributed teamwork.
- Property and casualty insurance domain exposure is desirable.
