Responsibilities
- Develop automated data pipelines and technology integration workflows.
- Automate malware sample collection, detonation, taxonomy, and Automated Malware Analysis platform enhancements.
- Implement data integration between pilot and production systems and scale automation into production.
- Develop Python scripts, tools, API integrations, ETL processes, and data transformation and normalization workflows.
- Support AI/ML data preparation, feature engineering, monitoring, alerting, and automation performance optimization.
- Maintain documentation and code repositories while ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with analysts to identify automation opportunities and continuously improve automated capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of directly relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or software development.
- Subject matter expertise with AWS components including VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and Route 53.
- Experience designing AWS data ingestion pipelines, S3 storage architectures, schemas, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with data manipulation libraries.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, orchestration tools, APIs, integration technologies, database systems, data modeling, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred experience includes malware analysis automation, cybersecurity or threat intelligence, AWS services, AI/ML pipelines, Airflow, Prefect, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, Hadoop, and federal cybersecurity programs.
- DoD 8140 IAT Level III and CSSLP are preferred.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty suitability are required.
