Responsibilities
- Design and build mission-critical, complex trading systems.
- Plan, design, and implement efficient, flexible, and resilient Linux services using modern C++ technologies.
- Analyze, implement, test, and deliver enhancements to Akuna’s proprietary trading platform.
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews.
- Work on cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Collaborate closely with options traders on the design and ongoing enhancement of the trading platform.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience developing performant, scalable applications in modern C++.
- At least two years of experience with C++20 or C++23; template metaprogramming is a plus.
- Experience with Linux and Python is required.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, multithreading, and asynchronous execution is required.
- Object-oriented design and programming experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Familiarity with trading and trading systems is a plus.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changing market conditions and solve math and coding problems.
