Base Salary
$128k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead device security assessments and penetration testing across IoT devices, CPEs, hotspots, trackers, routers, and modems.
- Develop device security measures, solutions, strategies, and security controls.
- Collaborate with device engineering teams and OEMs to integrate security into hardware, software, and deployment processes.
- Conduct digital forensics on compromised or suspect devices and partner with threat response teams.
- Drive cybersecurity initiatives, compliance efforts, and security posture improvements.
- Define and evolve device security assessment methodologies, requirements, standards, and tooling roadmaps.
- Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level security engineers.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by business management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of related work experience, or an advanced degree plus five years of related experience.
- Degree concentration in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Three to five years of hands-on device security assessment and testing experience involving IoT devices, routers, modems, or similar embedded platforms.
- Three to five years of experience with Ghidra, IDA Pro, dotPeek, Burp Suite, Nmap, hashcat, OllyDbg, or similar security tools.
- Three to five years of knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G RAN and Core architecture, cloud environments, and containerized applications.
- Preferred experience with Python, C++, C#, PHP, shell scripting, scalable systems, workflow automation, and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
- Preferred seven to ten years of experience conducting security assessments, implementing cybersecurity measures, and leading cybersecurity initiatives.
- Preferred CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

- The posting lists base pay ranges by location and a national base pay range of $127,800 to $230,700.
