Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate backend services for usage and billing data.
- Collaborate with product, Finance, and engineering teams to enhance billing capabilities.
- Own features end-to-end, from requirements to monitoring and improvement.
- Scale and harden systems as the Cloud business grows.
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
- Contribute to tooling, observability, and development workflows.
- Take part in an on-call rotation for system reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend systems development, ideally in Java.
- Understanding of core object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with highly available and observable distributed systems.
- Comfortable working with databases in production environments.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curious and motivated to solve real customer problems.
