Responsibilities
- Design and build Gong’s internal agentic framework using industry-standard tools.
- Develop evaluation frameworks and workflows for AI agents.
- Implement observability capabilities for AI agents, including monitoring and safety guardrails.
- Create APIs and SDKs to enable product teams to build and operate agents.
- Design integrations across Python and Java for seamless AI framework adoption.
- Build the runtime for orchestrating agent execution and managing state.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with strong system design skills.
- Hands-on experience with agentic systems or frameworks in production.
- Experience with tools like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python for building production-grade AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with Java and integrating backend platforms into Java systems.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with cloud platforms and microservices.
