Responsibilities

  • Verify and integrate 4G/5G modem firmware across functional and performance scenarios.
  • Develop modem system test plans and support feature release planning.
  • Use and automate 4G/5G signaling and physical-layer test equipment.
  • Analyze and debug complex issues in collaboration with development and design teams.
  • Collaborate with component validation, integration, protocol test, firmware development, and system engineering teams.
  • Apply automation and AI/ML techniques for test optimization, data analysis, or system verification.

Requirements

  • Expertise in 4G/5G 3GPP physical-layer and protocol-stack procedures and configurations.
  • Experience with modem system test planning and feature release planning for 4G/5G scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of 4G/5G signaling and physical-layer test equipment and automation interfaces.
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency with source-code control tools and the ability to learn new architectures and frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, paired with several years of relevant industry experience.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Preferred experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, virtual platforms, Python, C/C++, or Java.
