Base Salary

$280k - $380k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain active-active multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP with high availability, performance, and automation.
  • Collaborate through code reviews to establish technical standards and deliver consistent, high-quality solutions.
  • Partner with security teams to protect infrastructure and applications and implement compliance practices.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Lead incident response, incident management processes, and post-incident reviews to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and profile systems, identify bottlenecks, optimize resources, and address latency and scaling issues.
  • Automate repetitive tasks, improve workflows, reduce technical debt, and drive infrastructure enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive system and process documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and support global teams during critical outages.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, service mesh technologies such as Istio, Envoy, Linkerd, and Solo, and ECS.
  • Cloud-focused software development experience, preferably with Go, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation, including GitLab pipelines and related tools.
  • Understanding of networking, security, compliance, multi-tenant architecture, secure cloud network configuration, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and a track record of implementing scalable, high-performance infrastructure solutions.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or CISSP.
