Base Salary
$81k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services, platform components, and internal tools.
- Contribute to APIs, automation frameworks, and shared platform capabilities.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and team processes.
- Debug development and production issues with mentorship from senior engineers.
- Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and SRE teams.
- Contribute to frontend components and integrations when needed.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java or a similar backend language.
- Experience building or contributing to RESTful APIs or backend services.
- Basic understanding of distributed systems and SQL databases; NoSQL exposure is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and debugging.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and React or Angular sufficient to contribute to UI components and integrations.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Spring Boot, Kafka, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring and logging tools, and platform engineering concepts.
