Software Engineer
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for commercial products and internal processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into software applications.
- Architect software systems and ensure application scalability, performance, security, code quality, and documentation.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
- Develop internal tools and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in product introduction, cost improvement, schedule adherence, problem resolution, and technical design reviews.
- Support senior and principal engineers and contribute to coding standards, development practices, and technical training schemes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience with Python, Java, .NET, C, C++, JavaScript, React, and AWS.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Experience with web technologies and version control systems in an industrial context.
- Ability to work across organizations in a matrix environment.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem analysis, and resolution skills.
