Responsibilities
- Architect integrations with Stripe and Razorpay for recurring subscriptions, retail transactions, refunds, and multi-currency payments.
- Build webhook processing and idempotency safeguards to prevent duplicate charges and maintain transaction consistency.
- Design and maintain REST APIs in .NET Core supporting Angular and Flutter applications.
- Enforce PCI-DSS compliance through server-side tokenization and secure credential vaulting.
- Build Apache Kafka event-driven services to synchronize financial ledgers and billing states in real time.
- Design data models and optimize MySQL performance across a multi-tenant platform.
- Use AI coding tools while maintaining ownership of the security and maintainability of shipped systems.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of backend engineering experience in a SaaS product.
- Deep hands-on expertise in C# and .NET Core.
- Strong experience integrating payment gateway APIs, including subscription lifecycles, webhooks, and multi-currency transactions.
- Production experience using AI coding assistants and the ability to debug and support AI-generated code in sensitive financial workflows.
- Strong relational database skills, including transaction management and query optimization in MySQL.
- Experience building multi-tenant systems and working with event-streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker, container registries, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred experience in fitness, club management, or membership software.
- Preferred understanding of backend API connections to Flutter and Angular front ends.
