Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, infrastructure, tools, and shared testing libraries.
- Define and automate test cases for product requirements across web applications and API services.
- Participate in planning, story grooming, test execution, issue identification, resolution, and release support.
- Improve automation frameworks, test coverage, testing processes, code quality, and delivery quality.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to other SDETs.
- Conduct code reviews and document automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test development.
- Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented principles.
- Strong understanding of testing practices in an agile environment.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- Experience testing backend systems or APIs.
- Experience with JMeter or similar performance-testing tools, REST, JSON, Thrift, Selenium WebDriver, Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, SQL, HTTP, TLS, TCP, Jenkins, or Bamboo is an asset.
