Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, monitor, package, and harden containerized workloads and database solutions across development, test, and live environments.
- Build and support infrastructure-as-code, Helm, container registry, GitOps, and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
- Implement Kubernetes service meshes, custom Helm charts, custom resource definitions, and admission controllers.
- Manage vulnerability remediation, security and compliance postures, RBAC policies, upstream synchronization, and package release processes for Big Bang and Iron Bank.
- Design multi-cloud and hybrid cloud foundations, network connectivity, zero-downtime deployments, disaster recovery, failover, and data protection strategies.
- Resolve operational incidents, troubleshoot functional and performance issues, and support resilient production operations.
- Lead technical tasks, mentor engineers, provide technical and management leadership, and make architectural and capacity-planning decisions.
Requirements
- Mid-level roles require 3-5 years of relevant experience and 3+ years of cloud or container engineering experience.
- Senior roles require 5-7 years of relevant experience and 5+ years working with Kubernetes or containers.
- SME roles require 8+ years of relevant experience, 7+ years working with Kubernetes or containers, and 3+ years providing technical guidance to other engineers.
- Experience working on DevSecOps teams and with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required across the role levels.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Linux, networking, Kubernetes security and compliance, and infrastructure automation is required.
- Senior and SME roles require strong or expert experience with Helm, Docker, Terraform, Istio, and configuration-management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- CKA certification is highly desired for mid-level roles and required for senior roles.
- SME candidates require expertise with Platform One tools and deep Kubernetes security and compliance knowledge.
- The roles require US citizenship, identity verification, employment eligibility verification, and direct full-time W2 employment.

- The stated base salary ranges are $110,000-$160,000 for mid-level, $150,000-$180,000 for senior, and $180,000-$220,000 for SME roles, commensurate with experience and technical skillset.
