Responsibilities
- Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, establish benchmarks, perform capacity planning, and implement infrastructure optimization.
- Lead escalated platform support, troubleshooting, system tuning, incident resolution, vendor coordination, and support-process improvements.
- Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and system recovery solutions while reducing downtime and improving operational resilience.
- Design, configure, deploy, and govern complex, highly available, and scalable platforms and infrastructure in accordance with standards.
- Analyze performance and utilization data, prepare infrastructure reports, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, configuration documentation, knowledge bases, and platform best practices while mentoring junior engineers.
- Develop platform automation scripts and utilities using .NET, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps workflows, including pipelines for Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Foundry workloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant platform engineering experience.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management, networking, infrastructure as code, IT infrastructure management, performance monitoring, system administration, systems integration, troubleshooting, and system testing.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, DevSecOps, policy management, process automation, service delivery management, and platform operations.
- Ability to lead complex technical support, platform design, performance optimization, disaster recovery, governance, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
