Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and continuously improve enterprise data and platform services across cloud, analytics, and AI-enabled workloads.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, establish benchmarks, perform capacity planning, and optimize infrastructure performance and resource utilization.
- Lead escalated platform support, troubleshooting, incident response, vendor coordination, and downtime-reduction initiatives.
- Design disaster recovery and system recovery solutions and participate in backup planning and testing.
- Analyze performance and utilization trends, prepare infrastructure performance reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Design, configure, deploy, and govern highly available and scalable platforms and systems in accordance with standards and best practices.
- Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, configuration documentation, best practices, and a comprehensive platform knowledge base.
- Develop automation scripts and utilities using .NET, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Build and support Azure DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines for Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Foundry workloads, including provisioning, deployment automation, security controls, environment promotion, and monitoring.
- Mentor junior engineers, organize training, and promote cross-team knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant platform engineering experience.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management, computer networking, IT infrastructure management, system administration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and systems integration.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, policy management, process automation, and service delivery management.
- Ability to design, configure, monitor, optimize, and support complex, highly available, and scalable platforms.
- Experience developing automation scripts and utilities with .NET, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience building and governing CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps workflows.
- Experience supporting Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Foundry workloads, including deployment automation, security controls, environment promotion, and operational monitoring.
- Experience with system testing, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, documentation, and technical mentoring.
