Responsibilities
- Define cloud security frameworks and architectures aligned with business requirements and performance goals.
- Design and implement security strategies protecting cloud infrastructure and data assets.
- Document cloud security controls, processes, and transition plans.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on security architecture, business needs, compliance requirements, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Transition security controls into managed cloud security operations.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, manage team performance, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members on cloud security principles and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevSecOps.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in DevSecOps.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of implementing and managing security controls in cloud environments.
- Ability to document complex security processes and transition plans.
- Familiarity with automation tools and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines in a security context.
- Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies within cloud platforms.
