Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize high-throughput, reliable data and calculation processes for risk metrics.
- Engineer performant, resilient, and scalable workflows for market scenarios, counterparties, credit ratings, and risk appetites.
- Contribute to next-generation AI-enabled, cloud-first architecture and platform uplifts.
- Write clean, production-grade code and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and follow modern SDLC practices.
- Collaborate with quantitative engineers, technical leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience building and scaling enterprise-level, business-critical systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python backend technologies.
- Experience with scalable SDLC practices, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and high-availability patterns.
- Experience implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools, platforms, or automated solutions.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Financial services experience and deep knowledge of risk or risk engineering systems are preferred.
