Base Salary
$84k - $139k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build highly scalable, reliable infrastructure and tooling for sub-second performance.
- Write code and scripts for infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automated incident resolution.
- Support and extend observability systems to detect and alert on system issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Create systems documentation, troubleshooting playbooks, and instruction manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Professional experience administering Linux, cloud, and container environments.
- Professional coding experience in a higher-level language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification is preferred.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is preferred.
- Two to five years of relevant work experience.
